Chris Dlutowski, a candidate for Pelham Manor trustee, says speeding cars near Siwanoy School are his top concern. He wants roadway changes based on a village-wide traffic safety analysis.

Dlutowski, a New York City attorney who represents retirement systems, says he has met with state and federal representatives. He says he is on a first-name basis with those officials and will seek entitlements that other communities take for granted.

He says he will work with local groups to recommend methods that have worked in other communities. He says he will ask residents what is on their mind about village issues and may use that input to reach a village-wide consensus.

Dlutowski currently serves as president of the Pelham Art Center board. He has co-chaired several fundraising events and hosted Novel Night, the Pelham House & History Tour, and the Pelham Preservation & Garden Society Fundraiser.

In a letter to the Pelham Examiner, resident Peter Hoffmann says Dlutowski listens and cares about what Manor residents have to say. Hoffmann, who lives at 15 Priory Lane, asks readers to support Dlutowski on election day.
