No. 23 Missouri defeated Arkansas 34-10 on Saturday night in Fayetteville, Ark., after converting three fumbles and one interception into 24 points. The Tigers (6-2, 3-2 SEC) overcame a scoreless offensive stretch in the first half to secure the win, while the Razorbacks (3-5, 1-4 SEC) struggled to move the ball on the ground.

The game began with a defensive play that set the tone. Late in the first quarter, Darris Smith recovered a fumble in the end zone, giving Missouri a 10-0 lead. The Tigers extended that advantage to 13-7 by halftime, despite their offense failing to score during that period. The momentum shifted decisively in the third quarter. Quarterback Austin Simmons completed a 15-yard touchdown pass to Donovan Olugbode. Later, running back Jamal Roberts added a 2-yard rushing touchdown. These two scores pushed Missouri ahead 27-7 with 9:47 remaining in the game.

Roberts, who had 158 total yards and two touchdowns, commented on the team's offensive surge. “It was big. It was a swing of the momentum,” Roberts said. “We just went on a run. That’s something that we like to do on offense, just go on a run.” He finished the game with 138 yards on 23 carries and three receptions for 20 yards. Simmons completed 179 passing yards and threw two touchdown passes to lead the team.

The victory also featured the return of All-American running back Ahmad Hardy. Hardy missed the first seven games of the season after being wounded in the leg during a shooting at an outdoor concert in May. Head coach Eli Drinkwitz noted that Hardy was practicing well and had no medical limitations. “I think we were to the point where he was practicing, he looks good, there’s no medical reason not to play him,” Drinkwitz said. Hardy ran for 5 yards on two carries in the first quarter.

Arkansas quarterback KJ Jackson completed 20 of 34 passes for 229 yards and scored a rushing touchdown. The Razorbacks were held to 59 rushing yards on 36 carries. In the fourth quarter, Simmons hit Roberts for a 10-yard touchdown pass with 7:19 left on the clock, establishing the final margin of victory.

Missouri hosts No. 11 Texas on Saturday, Nov. 7. Arkansas travels to Auburn for its next matchup on the same day.
