The screen is a 15.6-inch Full-HD display panel that operates at a 144Hz refresh rate and supports Adaptive Sync. The bezels are thin and the looks are great! The build quality is fabulous. The company claims a military-grade toughness and feels great to use. The hinges are extremely stable and there is barely in a keyboard or top lid flex.

Asus TUF comes with a great keyboard. The keyboard feels premium to use, and has an excellent typing experience. The trackpad is of good size and it also features physical left and right key buttons. The buttons is of good quality and the trackpad has very good sensitivity.

The gaming performance on the laptop was fabulous and the cooling was great too. The thermals were very stable and there were barely any performance fluctuations. Frame rates were stable and all games performed above an average of 60 fps. The battery life is decent; lasted for a good 5 hours duration while typing, browsing, and playing videos.

Drawbacks:

The chassis is made of very strong material, and honestly, in terms of build quality, Asus has nailed it.

The keyboard is a compact form factor backlit keyboard that comes with light blue lighting. The typing experience on the keyboard is excellent and is extremely comfortable to use for long hours be it typing or gaming. The trackpad is slightly small but it’s smooth to use, thus no such complaints regarding that either.

This laptop is extremely thin, being just 0.8 inches in thickness. Despite being so thin, the cooling of this laptop is outstanding. It features 4 fan outlets equipped with 83 blade fans and 5pipes to dissipate any heat that generates during heavy usage quickly. The battery lasted for more than 13 hours which is definitely remarkable.

Drawbacks:

  • No webcam.
  • The trackpad is small.

The display is a Full-HD IPS panel of 15.6 inches. The display has touchscreen feature and the touch response is fast and smooth. The colors are sharp and vibrant. The build of the laptop is strong and sturdy. The hinges are stable and the overall build is very reliable.

The keyboard is backlit and comes with a Numpad. The typing experience on the keyboard was good and comfortable even during long hours. The trackpad is of appropriate size and feels smooth to use. The top right of the trackpad is equipped with a fingerprint scanner to allow faster login into windows.

This laptop weighs only 1.8 kilos which is a pretty decent weight for carrying. The battery backup is for more than 7 hours under light usage. The performance is good and the laptop operates really smoothly.

The display, as mentioned earlier is the highlight of this laptop. The display is a 15.6 inches OLED display panel with NanoEdge bezels and an 85% of screen-to-body ratio. The display is 133%sRGB and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut. There is a 70% blue-light reduction for eye care. The colors are true to life and the contrast ratio is 1000000:1. The response time of this laptop is 0.2ms. The build quality is very good despite being only 18.6mm thick. The hinges are sturdy and the chassis is quite strong and tough.

The keyboard is a backlit keyboard with 1.4mm of key travel. The keyboard is ergonomic and the typing experience on this keyboard was very good. Even long hours of usage won’t be that fatiguing. The trackpad is made of good material and certainly feels good to use. The trackpad is equipped with a fingerprint sensor at the top right corner, of its trackpad. This allows the laptop to support one-touch login.

The Asus VivoBook 15 OLED weighs around 1.6kg which is definitely very light and portable. Under our testing phase, its battery lasted for around 6-7 hours which is decent, but on the second test, it only lasted for 4.5 hours under the same conditions and similar usage.

The build quality is also good, the hinges are stable and can rotate up to 360 degrees which allows this laptop to be used both as a laptop and a tablet.

The backlit keyboard is comfortable to use. The typing experience on it was great. The trackpad might feel a little small to use, but its not terrible; its smooth to use. The power button of this laptop is placed at the left side of the chassis instead of on the keyboard.

The weight of this laptop is 1.9 kg which might feel a little heavy for a tablet, but its quite decent weight for a laptop. The battery life of this laptop is pretty good. It lasted for a solid 10hours while typing, browsing and watching videos.

Speaking of the keyboard the keyboard is of good quality and the typing on it was extremely comfortable, especially because the hinges of the laptop give it a little elevation when open. The trackpad is simple and elegant and is equipped with a quick-response fingerprint sensor.

It weighs 1.8 kilos and the battery lasted around 8-9 hours when used for typing, browsing, and watching videos, making the laptop convenient for portability.

The display is good enough for the price. Can’t expect any better for this budget. The display supports Full-HD resolution and supports touchscreen usage. The bezels are extremely narrow and the look is superb. build quality is very good. The laptop feels sturdy and the hinges are very stable and there is barely any screen wobble.

The keys on the keyboard are of slightly different sizes compared to windows laptops; will definitely need some getting-used-to. Overall, the laptop is good and so is the typing experience. The trackpad is of good size and the touchpad response was really very good.

It weighs around 1.4kilos which is extremely convenient for portability. The battery of this laptop lasted around 10hours with basic usage like typing, browsing and watching videos.
