Nothing's Ear 3A wireless earbuds are available for $79 at Amazon, Walmart, and Best Buy. This price point reflects a $20 reduction from the standard cost and matches the lowest price recorded for the product to date.
The discount applies to all four available color options for the device. The Ear 3A features active noise cancellation that effectively reduces low-frequency sounds such as air conditioning units and airplane cabin hum. While the system does not fully eliminate background chatter, it manages steady drone noises well. The unit also provides extensive equalizer controls that allow users to adjust the sound profile to specific preferences.
Testing by John Higgins of The Verge noted that the default audio setting leans heavily toward bass. However, the ease of adjusting these settings through the extensive EQ options was a positive factor for the reviewer. This level of customization is uncommon for earbuds in this price range. The hardware includes 32MB of built-in storage, which allows users to record up to two hours of phone calls and transfer the files via a companion app.
The product also offers a direct shortcut to access ChatGPT. Each pair ships with extra-small ear tips designed to improve fit comfort. Reviewers identified some minor software bugs, including abrupt shifts in noise cancellation levels when using adaptive modes and occasional voice call issues in noisy environments. These technical glitches were considered minor relative to the overall performance and feature set provided at the current price.
