Fresno State recorded four touchdowns by a single player to defeat Oregon State 38-22 on Saturday night, ending a five-game winning streak for the Beavers.

Jayden Mandal accounted for all four of Fresno State's scores. He threw two touchdown passes to Josiah Freeman and rushed for two more. Bryson Donelson added a rushing touchdown and carried the ball for 108 yards. The Bulldogs also sacked the Oregon State quarterback five times, including two tackles by Dylan Hampsten.

The defensive pressure marked a sharp change in performance for Oregon State. The Beavers had allowed just nine sacks in their first seven games of the season. This loss ended a run that began after back-to-back defeats to Houston and Texas Tech.

Oregon State quarterback Braden Atkinson completed 33 of 59 passes for 373 yards. He threw a nine-yard score to Eric Olsen with 1:45 remaining, but the Beavers fumbled the ball twice and failed to convert on three fourth-down attempts. The 22 points scored represented the lowest total for the team this season.

Fresno State, now 5-3 and 2-2 in the Pac-12, had lost its previous two games before this victory. Oregon State remains 5-3 and 3-1 in the conference. The Beavers host Texas State next Saturday, while Fresno State travels to play Utah State.
